We offer a small lodge of eight beautifully appointed suites, for clientele with discerning taste and who enjoy the natural beauty of their surroundings.

ACCOMMODATION: Our suites are luxuriously appointed, tastefully furnished, all have ensuite bathrooms and some with spa baths. The suites have satellite television, high speed internet connection, private telephones, dressing gowns, and fresh flowers. The views are spectacular across the Knysna estuary towards the majestic Outeniqua Mountains. One can watch the ebb and flow of the tides into and out of the Knysna Lagoon in awe of the sheer volume of water flowing through twice a day. Guests can also enjoy the understated luxury of our bar and lounge, where one can sip a cocktail while getting to know other guests. There is also a separate lounge area for those guests who want some quiet time.

Our pool deck is conveniently situated on the same level where guests can take a break and order a cocktail, and if the conditions are right, watch dolphins swimming in the lagoon. Wake up to a sumptuous English and continental breakfast served in the sun-splashed central atrium, which overlooks the pool deck and lagoon.

SERVICES & FACILITIES: Our qualified staff is available to assist our guests. Meals and light snacks are available during the day. Transportation for local shopping, restaurants, beaches and golf outings will be provided as a courtesy for our guests. Airport pick-up and drop off is available for a nominal fee.

ACTIVITIES: Augusta Bay of Knysna offers you the opportunity to experience a host of enjoyable activities. For the energetic vacationer, tennis and water skiing. We offer guided fishing excursions or go for a sunset cocktail cruise on our boat the Augusta Belle, for those who want more; surfing and scuba-diving, kayaking, canoes and cycling. For the nature loving person, there are numerous forest walks and guided tours in the beautiful Tsitsikama Forest a short road trip from Knysna. The famous Featherbed Nature Reserve, within easy access by the ferry, John Benn, on the opposite side of the lagoon.
